Be not weary in well doing...

I am amazed at how often I feel tired of doing the things that I do. I have been teaching piano lessons now for about six years. I have 24 students this year. Occasionally I will have a day when I just think a child is not trying and it makes me feel discouraged; but later in the day I will have a child come to class having practiced above his required time, memorized his recital piece, and just behaved exceptionally respectful. That makes it worth my effort. I love to see a child use his talents and do so well. I try so hard to encourage my students to learn well in order to serve the Lord better. I love what I do - I pray that the Lord helps me not to grow weary, but to endure my challenges as they come so I may see the fruits of my labor.

This same reasoning works for every are of our life doesn't it? :) God is so good!

Me too. Only I teach three grade levels five days a week, and I do NOT have the gift of teaching! The way I see it, God has a sense of humor and this way there is no doubt in anybody's mind who gets the glory for good results and the blame for the bad. :) I rely on that particular verse an awful lot myself. :)
